As easy it is to enjoy a pleasent stay in the Bordures-, Wild-Roses- or Anemones-Room as comfy and cushy it gets in the Ivy- or Purpure-Room beneath the pitch of the roof. In 1789 Mozart was told that Frederick William II played the cello and that he maintained a magnificent court orchestra. Thus Mozart did not need to think long before travelling to Potsdam willing to play for the monarch, hoping for a new source of income.
