Location of the Schlossgarten Hotel

The privately run Schlossgarten Hotel is located vis-a-vis to the Park of Sanssouci near the pheasant run and in the nice mansion quarter of Potsdam. The New Palais at the western site of the park is only 10 minutes of walking away. The wellknown Castle of Sanssouci is about 20 minutes away. The train station and bus stop "Bahnhof Sanssouci" is only a hundred meters away. By train you can reach the train station of Potsdam in about 8 minutes, with the buses 605,606,610 and 695 the ride will take 20 minutes.

It is recommended to take your time while wandering around in the Park of Sanssouci to see all of those manors, mansions, castles and lakes. From here you can reach the town centre of Potsdam in about 20 minutes. The romantic hotel is a green oasis and also located absolutely central.

Nice and worthwile strolling targets in the Park Sanssouci are the Castle Charlottenhof (restaurant), the Roman Baths, the Chinese Teahouse, the "Drachenhaus" (restaurant), the Botanic Garden, the Orangery Palace and the "Krongut zu Bornstedt" (restaurant). Or do you like to have a little more water? Only 10 minutes away you can rent a boat to discover the Havel or a lake. You will soon see that green and calm nature and the near to the city are no contrasts any more.

How to reach the hotel?

The Schlossgarten Hotel is very easy to reach from every direction. By car from Rostock, Hamburg or Hannover you should take the turn off "Potsdam Nord" Berliner Ring (A 10). Over the B273 and the town Bornstedt you will be at the hotel in 15 minutes.

From Frankfurt, Dresden, Leipzig coming from the Berliner Ring (A10) at the highway junction "Nuthetal" you come to the A 115 and from the motorway junction "Potsdam-Babelsberg" directly to the center of Potsdam. There you follow the A-Road 1 on the left side until you reach the Geschwister-Scholl-Straße

Local public transport: From the Airport Tegel a shuttlebus brings you to the central station of Berlin. There you take the RE 1 directly to Potsdam. (Bahnhof Potsdam "Park Sanssouci"; driving time about 70 minutes) From the Airport Schönefeld the Regio-Express brings you to the train station "Pirschheide" in Potsdam. Then you take the bus number 695 and leave at the bus stop "Park Sanssouci". The driving time is about 70 minutes.

From the central station of Potsdam you can take the buses 605, 606, 610 and 695 until you reach the bus stop "Park Sanssouci".
